Lower respiratory tract infections: What to know

Lower respiratory tract infections: What to know

Research on respiratory infections increased the past few years. In my opinion the reason for this that people have become more aware that breathing is more then just an autonomic response of your system. People have become more aware of their respiratory muscles needed to breath. There is more media attention and digital application are developed to alert a person to breathe better. Only becoming aware does not make you skilled in doing. In my opinion the reason for this is that we have never been taught HOW to Proper training our respiratory muscles to create muscle memory that create habits for breathing patterns. Leaving people aware an untrained.

The #article below by Alana Bigger you can read all you need to know about the Lower respiratory tract infection and why its important to know. It is such a common problem that most of the people do not experience it as a problem just a bit annoying ….yet it can become dangerous when you do not give it proper attention to solve it.

Symptoms of a less severe lower respiratory tract infection can include a dry cough, a low fever, and a runny nose.

When i was at the age of 7 i suffered from Asthma, I failed in all team running sports and was always picked last in the row to be part of a team. The judgement i received was, that i was clumpsy, lazy, a lack of attitude and sucked in fitness. The Cooper test was my worst nightmare.

Little did i know that Asthma ran in the family. My mother and father where astmatic, both my parents smooked when they where young parents. To cover their suffering they where using little boxes that they shaked, turned upside down and then pressed a button. That horrible sisching sound, the experession on the faces of my parents and then the after shock. Before they where tense..after the Inhallater they where calm and then, mostly within the hour they where tense again. For what and how?

My parents had inhalers and my i had nothing for my Asthma. Asthma support for childeren….it was not noticed in my time. Although i later heard that my father in his young years was actually very fragile in his respiratory well-being that he was frequently send to an Open air school near the sea.

Open-air schools: A class of students is taught outside in the open air with blackboards and all. They are thickly packed to face the cold. Location unknown, 1918.

When i was seven years i experienced being unconscious for 5 to 10 minutes. I fell on the ground as reaction of me running on the beach playing tac with my friends. This made me go out of latterly out of breath. This experience made me understand that i had something serious to deal with. Nobody every tested me if i had asthma. The asthma had it ups and downs. What more became an issues was dealing with sleep-apnea when i was in my young adolescence years up to 24. And again l was not aware of my causes. There was no Google or YouTube to search for content. And doctors and medication i did not like at all either.

Fast forward i learned to train and gain control over my respiratory system by mastering playing didgeridoo in combination with being educated as music therapist / vocal coach. In this blog post i will not dive in detail why the didgeridoo and so forth. In this blog post i want to share an very interesting article by Medically reviewed by Alana Biggers, M.D., MPH — By Jenna Fletcher on February 11, 2019. This article provides an very valuable description and overview on Respiratory tract infections as that is the main issues with all breathing difficulties.

Respiratory tract infection has 2 subjects: Upper vs Lower Respiratory tract infection. The article below provides an clean overview of What it is, What are the symptoms, what to do and what to avoid.

Unfortunately nothing is mentioned about training with a didgeridoo for respiratory relief. i do not blame them at all as until now Robbert Eley and doctor Milo Puhan have been successfully stepping in to this arena. The researches in the British medical journal are out dated. This provides space for new research approaches where i see an opportunity for myself in The Breath Control Academy to reopen these researches and update and improve the science data on this. In order to be of value to the countless people dealing with Upper or Lower Respiratory tract infection and professionals that can improve their knowledge an be of better value and service to their patients.

Purentakisko vai omahoito? Bruksismiin paras apu voi olla jumppa (anna.fi)

— From the article:

Mikä avuksi narskutteluun – onko purentakisko paras hoito, vai voiko vaivaa hoitaa itse? Protetiikan ja purentafysiologian erikoishammaslääkäri Iiro Linko HammasOskarista ja Oral Porvoosta vastasi kysymyksiin narskuttelusta.

Narskuttelu eli bruksismi paljastuu usein hammaslääkärin vastaanotolla. Potilas tulee hakemaan apua, sillä narskuttelu aiheuttaa oireita. —- read the whole article Purentakisko vai omahoito? Bruksismiin paras apu voi olla jumppa (anna.fi)
